About Freds Autohaus:

For over 25 years Fred's Autohaus has been specializing in general Corvette maintenance and performance upgrades for all model years.

I purchased a 1965 Corvette Coupe out of San Diego in February 2007. She was a real looker, but extremely tired mechanically. Being my first Vette, I did quite a bit of research (including shop visits) before entrusting my vintage mid-year C2 to Fred. What a marvelous decision. After a thorough autopsy, Fred personally walked me through the diagnosis. Though worse than I had expected, she wasn't terminal. So, what was he able to do? With magnificent attention to detail: brand new GM Performance Parts ZZ4 350 cid crate motor, all new pulley system, rebuilt transmission, new shocks and springs, upper and lower front a-arms, new rear leaf, all new bushings, vintage air, new wiring harness, new steering box, power brake boost, etc., etc., etc. I wish I could show you the before, during and after photos that Fred provided during the restoration (all on CD). One additional comment. Fred's Autohaus is in it's second generation of ownership. If you're lucky enough to meet Fred Sr., you'll be better off for it. Not to mention, the entire staff is quite friendly, courteous and more than happy to help in your time of need.
